تعارف
دنیا کی زندگی آزمائشوں سے بھری ہوئی ہے۔ کبھی انسان کو تنگ دستی، بھوک اور محرومی کے ذریعے آزمایا جاتا ہے اور کبھی مال و دولت کے ذریعے۔ ایسے مواقع پر انسان کا اصل کردار سامنے آتا ہے۔ تاریخ اسلام میں بے شمار ایسے واقعات ملتے ہیں جو ایمان، دیانت داری اور اللہ تعالیٰ پر کامل بھروسے کی عملی مثال پیش کرتے ہیں۔
یہ واقعہ ایک ایسے بوڑھے مسلمان کا ہے جس نے شدید غربت، بھوک اور ضرورت کے باوجود امانت میں خیانت نہ کی، اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے ایسا صلہ عطا فرمایا جس کی وہ خود بھی توقع نہیں کر سکتا تھا۔
رمضان المبارک اور ایک غریب گھرانہ
24 ہجری کے رمضان المبارک کا زمانہ تھا۔ مکہ مکرمہ میں فجر کی اذان گونج رہی تھی اور لوگ بیت اللہ کی طرف نماز کے لیے جا رہے تھے۔
انہی دنوں مکہ میں ایک 86 سالہ بزرگ ابو غیاث رہتے تھے۔ وہ نہایت غریب تھے۔ ان کے زیر کفالت چار بیٹیاں، دو بہنیں، ایک بوڑھی ساس اور ان کی اہلیہ امِّ لبابہ تھیں۔ گھر میں فاقوں کی نوبت آ چکی تھی۔ کئی دنوں سے کھانے کو کچھ نہ تھا۔
رمضان کے روزے تھے، لیکن غربت اس حد تک پہنچ چکی تھی کہ اہلِ خانہ بھوک سے نڈھال ہو رہے تھے۔
اس کے باوجود ابو غیاث کے دل میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی تقسیمِ رزق پر مکمل یقین موجود تھا۔ وہ جانتے تھے کہ رزق اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے اور جو مقدر میں لکھ دیا گیا ہے وہ ضرور ملے گا۔

اچانک ملنے والی ہمیانی
ایک دن مزدوری کی تلاش میں نکلے لیکن کہیں کام نہ ملا۔ شدید گرمی، بھوک اور کمزوری کے عالم میں ایک دیوار کے سائے تلے بیٹھ گئے۔
اتنے میں ان کا ہاتھ مٹی میں دبی ہوئی ایک چیز سے ٹکرایا۔ غور سے دیکھا تو وہ سونے کے دیناروں سے بھری ہوئی ایک ہمیانی (چرمی تھیلی) تھی۔
جب انہوں نے تھیلی کھولی تو معلوم ہوا کہ اس میں ایک ہزار دینار موجود ہیں۔
یہ اتنی بڑی رقم تھی کہ ان کی تمام غربت ختم ہو سکتی تھی۔ بیٹیوں کی شادیاں ہو جاتیں، گھر آباد ہو جاتا اور برسوں کی محرومیاں ختم ہو جاتیں۔
مگر اسی لمحے ان کے دل میں ایک اور آواز ابھری:
"یہ مال تمہارا نہیں، یہ کسی کی امانت ہے۔"
نفس اور ایمان کی کشمکش
ابو غیاث کے سامنے دو راستے تھے۔
پہلا راستہ یہ تھا کہ ضرورت کا بہانہ بنا کر مال اپنے پاس رکھ لیتے۔
دوسرا راستہ یہ تھا کہ امانت کو اس کے مالک تک پہنچاتے۔
بھوک، غربت اور اہلِ خانہ کی پریشانی انہیں ایک طرف کھینچ رہی تھی جبکہ اللہ کا خوف دوسری طرف۔
ان کی اہلیہ نے بھی مجبوری کا اظہار کیا اور کہا کہ کم از کم کچھ دینار خرچ کر لیے جائیں، مگر ابو غیاث نے انکار کر دیا۔
انہوں نے فیصلہ کیا کہ امانت میں خیانت نہیں کریں گے، چاہے حالات کتنے ہی سخت کیوں نہ ہوں۔

اصل مالک کی تلاش
ابو غیاث حرم میں پہنچے تو ایک خراسانی نوجوان مسلسل اعلان کر رہا تھا:
"میری ہزار دینار والی تھیلی گم ہو گئی ہے۔"
ابو غیاث نے کئی مرتبہ اس سے کہا کہ اگر وہ واپس کرنے والے کے لیے کچھ انعام مقرر کر دے تو شاید تھیلی جلد مل جائے، لیکن نوجوان ہر بار یہی جواب دیتا:
"میں اس معاملے کا فیصلہ اللہ پر چھوڑتا ہوں۔"
تین دن گزر گئے۔
ابو غیاث کی غربت اور ضرورت اپنی جگہ موجود تھی، مگر ان کی دیانت داری بھی قائم رہی۔
امانت واپس کرنے کا فیصلہ
آخرکار ابو غیاث نے خراسانی نوجوان کو اپنے گھر بلایا اور اس کی تھیلی واپس کر دی۔
انہوں نے ایک ایک دینار گن کر پورے ہزار دینار اس کے حوالے کر دیے۔
یہ منظر ان کی بیوی اور بیٹیوں نے بھی دیکھا۔ ان کی نگاہوں کے سامنے وہ دولت جا رہی تھی جو ان کی تمام مشکلات ختم کر سکتی تھی۔
مگر ابو غیاث مطمئن تھے کیونکہ انہوں نے اللہ کی رضا کو دنیاوی فائدے پر ترجیح دی تھی۔

اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے غیر متوقع انعام
جب نوجوان جانے لگا تو اچانک واپس پلٹ آیا۔
اس نے کہا:
"میرے والد نے وصیت کی تھی کہ ان کے مال میں سے ایک ہزار دینار کسی انتہائی محتاج اور مستحق شخص کو دے دیے جائیں۔"
پھر اس نے کہا:
"میں نے خراسان سے مکہ تک سفر میں آپ سے زیادہ مستحق کوئی شخص نہیں دیکھا۔"
یہ کہہ کر اس نے وہی ایک ہزار دینار ابو غیاث کو بطور ہدیہ پیش کر دیے۔
اب یہ مال امانت نہیں بلکہ حلال اور جائز طریقے سے ان کی ملکیت بن چکا تھا۔
صبر کا عظیم صلہ
ابو غیاث نے خوش ہو کر فرمایا:
"ہم نے حرام کے ایک دینار سے بھی اپنے آپ کو بچایا تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں حلال کے ایک ہزار دینار عطا فرما دیے۔"
یہ صرف مال کا انعام نہیں تھا بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے اس دیانت داری اور صبر کی قبولیت کا اعلان تھا۔

اس واقعے سے حاصل ہونے والے اسباق
1۔ امانت میں خیانت کبھی کامیابی نہیں دیتی
مسلمان کی پہچان دیانت داری ہے۔ وقتی فائدہ اگرچہ بڑا نظر آئے لیکن حرام مال کبھی برکت نہیں لاتا۔
2۔ صبر کا پھل ضرور ملتا ہے
اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے صبر کرنے والے بندوں کو ضائع نہیں کرتا۔ کبھی دنیا میں اور کبھی آخرت میں بہترین بدلہ عطا فرماتا ہے۔
3۔ رزق اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے
انسان ناجائز ذرائع اختیار کر کے رزق میں اضافہ نہیں کر سکتا۔ حقیقی رزق وہی ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ حلال طریقے سے عطا فرمائے۔
4۔ اللہ کے لیے کسی چیز کو چھوڑنے کا بہترین بدلہ ملتا ہے
جو شخص اللہ کے خوف سے حرام چیز چھوڑ دیتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ اسے اس سے بہتر عطا فرماتا ہے۔
5۔ معاشرے میں سخاوت اور احساس ضروری ہے
رمضان صرف بھوک برداشت کرنے کا نام نہیں بلکہ دوسروں کی بھوک اور ضرورت کو محسوس کرنے کا بھی نام ہے۔

ابو غیاث کا یہ واقعہ ہمیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ اصل کامیابی دولت جمع کرنے میں نہیں بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی رضا حاصل کرنے میں ہے۔ جب انسان مشکل ترین حالات میں بھی دیانت داری، امانت اور تقویٰ کا دامن نہیں چھوڑتا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لیے ایسی راہیں کھول دیتا ہے جن کا وہ تصور بھی نہیں کر سکتا۔
آج کے دور میں جبکہ امانت اور دیانت داری نایاب ہوتی جا رہی ہے، یہ واقعہ ہر مسلمان کے لیے ایک روشن مثال ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ صبر کرنے والوں اور امانت داروں کا اجر کبھی ضائع نہیں کرتا۔

Their situation had become desperate. Food was scarce, and the family had endured days of hunger. Yet despite these hardships, Abu Ghiyath never lost faith in Allah's decree. He firmly believed that sustenance comes only from Allah and that no one can take what Allah has not written for them.

An Unexpected Discovery
One day, after searching unsuccessfully for work under the scorching heat of Makkah, Abu Ghiyath sat down beside a wall, exhausted from hunger and fasting.
As he absentmindedly moved the dust with his hand, he touched something unusual buried beneath the ground. Upon uncovering it, he found a leather pouch filled with gold dinars.
When he opened the pouch, he discovered that it contained one thousand gold dinars.
For a man living in extreme poverty, this amount of wealth could have transformed his entire life. It could have provided food, clothing, security, and a future for his daughters.
But another thought immediately entered his heart:
"This wealth does not belong to me. It is someone's trust."
The Struggle Between Desire and Faith
Abu Ghiyath now faced a difficult test.
On one side stood his hungry family and their desperate needs. On the other stood his fear of Allah and his commitment to honesty.
His wife, overwhelmed by their situation, suggested that they use at least a small portion of the money for food and necessities.
From a human perspective, the temptation was understandable. The family had little to eat, and no one knew whether the rightful owner would ever be found.
Yet Abu Ghiyath refused.

Searching for the Owner
Abu Ghiyath went to the Sacred Mosque, where he heard a young man from Khurasan repeatedly announcing:
"My pouch containing one thousand dinars has been lost. May Allah reward whoever returns it."
Over the next three days, Abu Ghiyath encouraged the young man to offer a reward to whoever found the pouch. He hoped that a lawful reward might at least help provide some support for his struggling family.
However, the young man declined each time, saying that he would leave the matter to Allah.
Meanwhile, Abu Ghiyath continued to endure hunger and hardship, refusing to spend even a single dinar from the money that did not belong to him.
Returning the Trust
After several days, Abu Ghiyath brought the young man to his home and presented the pouch.
The pouch was opened, and every dinar was counted. All one thousand gold coins were present.
His wife and daughters watched from inside the house. Before their eyes, the wealth that could have changed their lives was being returned to its owner.
Yet Abu Ghiyath remained content because he had fulfilled his duty before Allah.

Allah's Unexpected Reward
As the young man prepared to leave, he suddenly returned.
He explained that before his father's death, he had been instructed to give one thousand dinars to the poorest and most deserving person he could find during his journey.
The young man then said:
"From Khurasan to Makkah, I have not found anyone poorer or more deserving than you."
He placed the same one thousand dinars before Abu Ghiyath as a gift.
What had previously been an entrusted property was now lawful wealth, freely given and rightfully owned.

"We protected ourselves from even a single unlawful dinar, and Allah rewarded us with one thousand lawful dinars."
