تمہید
اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت اور فضل کی وسعت کا اندازہ اس بات سے لگایا جا سکتا ہے کہ اس نے اپنے بندوں کے لیے نیکی اور اجر کے بے شمار راستے کھول رکھے ہیں۔ بعض لوگ یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ عظیم اجر و ثواب صرف انہی اعمال کے ساتھ مخصوص ہے جن میں بہت زیادہ مشقت، مال یا وقت درکار ہو، جیسے جہاد، حج، عمرہ یا کثرتِ صدقات۔ لیکن رسول اللہ ﷺ نے امت کو ایسے متعدد اعمال بھی بتائے ہیں جو عام مسلمان اپنی روزمرہ زندگی میں انجام دے سکتا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل سے ان پر بڑے اعمال جیسا اجر حاصل کر سکتا ہے۔
یہ بات بھی یاد رکھنے کی ہے کہ کسی عمل کا اجر اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت، بندے کے اخلاص اور حالات کے مطابق ہوتا ہے۔ ان احادیث کا مقصد مسلمانوں کو نیکی کی ترغیب دینا اور خیر کے مزید دروازے دکھانا ہے تاکہ کوئی شخص یہ نہ سمجھے کہ عظیم اجر صرف چند مخصوص لوگوں کے لیے ہے۔
آئیے ان مبارک احادیث کا مطالعہ کرتے ہیں۔
1۔ بیوہ اور مسکین کی خدمت پر جہاد کا اجر
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:
"بیوہ عورت اور مسکین کی خدمت کرنے والا اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرنے والے کی مانند ہے۔"
(صحیح مسلم: 2982)
اسلام انسانیت کی خدمت کو بڑی اہمیت دیتا ہے۔ بیوہ عورتیں اور محتاج لوگ اکثر معاشرے میں مدد کے محتاج ہوتے ہیں۔ جو شخص ان کی ضروریات پوری کرنے، ان کے مسائل حل کرنے اور ان کی کفالت میں حصہ لیتا ہے، وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک عظیم اجر کا مستحق بنتا ہے۔
آج کے دور میں کسی غریب خاندان کی مدد کرنا، یتیم بچوں کی کفالت کرنا یا کسی بیوہ کے لیے روزگار کا انتظام کرنا اسی فضیلت میں شامل ہو سکتا ہے۔

2۔ نماز وقت پر ادا کرنا
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں:
"اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک سب سے محبوب عمل نماز کو اس کے وقت پر ادا کرنا ہے۔"
(صحیح بخاری: 527)
نماز اسلام کا سب سے اہم عملی رکن ہے۔ بہت سے لوگ نفل عبادات کا اہتمام کرتے ہیں لیکن فرض نمازوں میں کوتاہی برتتے ہیں، حالانکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک وقت پر نماز ادا کرنا انتہائی محبوب عمل ہے۔
اگر ایک مسلمان اپنی زندگی میں صرف نمازوں کی پابندی اختیار کر لے تو یہ اس کی دنیا اور آخرت دونوں سنوار سکتی ہے۔
3۔ عشرۂ ذوالحجہ کے اعمال
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"کوئی دن ایسے نہیں جن میں نیک عمل اللہ کو ان دس دنوں سے زیادہ محبوب ہو۔"
(صحیح بخاری: 969)
ذوالحجہ کے ابتدائی دس دن سال کے سب سے بابرکت دنوں میں شمار ہوتے ہیں۔ ان دنوں میں نماز، روزہ، صدقہ، ذکر اور تلاوتِ قرآن کا اجر بہت زیادہ بڑھ جاتا ہے۔
یہ دن اس بات کا ثبوت ہیں کہ بعض اوقات مختصر وقت میں بھی بندہ عظیم اجر حاصل کر سکتا ہے۔

4۔ صدقات جمع کرنے کی خدمت
"جو شخص اللہ کی رضا کے لیے دیانت داری سے صدقات کی خدمت انجام دے، وہ اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرنے والے کی مانند ہے۔"
(سنن ابن ماجہ: 1809)
خیراتی اور رفاہی کاموں کی تنظیم، مستحقین تک امداد پہنچانا اور امانت داری سے خدمت انجام دینا اسلام میں بڑی فضیلت رکھتا ہے۔
یہ حدیث ہمیں بتاتی ہے کہ صرف صدقہ دینا ہی نہیں بلکہ صدقات کے نظام میں دیانت داری سے خدمت کرنا بھی عظیم اجر کا باعث ہے۔
5۔ والدین اور اولاد کی کفالت
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"اگر کوئی شخص اپنے چھوٹے بچوں کی کفالت کے لیے کوشش کر رہا ہے تو وہ اللہ کے راستے میں ہے۔"
بعض لوگ سمجھتے ہیں کہ دنیاوی محنت اور روزگار صرف دنیا کا کام ہے، جبکہ اسلام سکھاتا ہے کہ اگر نیت درست ہو تو گھر والوں کی کفالت بھی عبادت بن جاتی ہے۔
اپنے والدین، بیوی بچوں اور زیر کفالت افراد کی ضروریات پوری کرنا ایک عظیم نیکی ہے۔

6۔ حج اور عمرہ
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"حج بیت اللہ۔"
حج اسلام کے عظیم ترین ارکان میں سے ایک ہے۔ اس میں مال، وقت، جسمانی مشقت اور اخلاص سب شامل ہوتے ہیں۔
مقبول حج کے بارے میں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اس کا بدلہ جنت ہے۔ اسی لیے حج اور عمرہ بندے کے لیے گناہوں کی معافی اور درجات کی بلندی کا ذریعہ بنتے ہیں۔
7۔ نماز کے بعد اذکار
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"ہر نماز کے بعد 33 مرتبہ سبحان اللہ، 33 مرتبہ الحمدللہ اور 33 مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہا کرو۔"
(صحیح بخاری: 843)
یہ ایک ایسا عمل ہے جس میں صرف چند منٹ لگتے ہیں لیکن اس کا اجر بہت عظیم ہے۔
افسوس کہ بہت سے لوگ نماز مکمل ہوتے ہی مسجد سے نکل جاتے ہیں اور ان مسنون اذکار سے محروم رہتے ہیں۔
8۔ ایک نماز کے بعد دوسری نماز کا انتظار
"ایک نماز کے بعد دوسری نماز کا انتظار کرنا، یہی رباط ہے۔"
(صحیح مسلم: 251)
"رباط" سرحدوں کی حفاظت اور پہرہ داری کو کہا جاتا ہے۔ نبی کریم ﷺ نے نماز کے انتظار کو رباط سے تشبیہ دے کر اس کی عظمت واضح فرمائی۔
جو شخص نمازوں کے ساتھ تعلق مضبوط رکھتا ہے، اس کا دل ہمیشہ اللہ کی طرف متوجہ رہتا ہے۔

9۔ غازی کی مدد اور اس کے اہل خانہ کی کفالت
"جس شخص نے اللہ کے راستے میں جانے والے غازی کو سامان مہیا کیا، گویا اس نے خود جہاد کیا۔"
(صحیح مسلم: 1895)
اسلام میں نیکی کے کاموں میں تعاون کو بڑی اہمیت دی گئی ہے۔ ہر شخص ایک ہی کام انجام نہیں دے سکتا، لیکن وہ دوسروں کی مدد کرکے اجر میں شریک ہو سکتا ہے۔
یہ اصول دین کے تمام شعبوں پر لاگو ہوتا ہے۔ مسجد، مدرسہ، دعوت، رفاہی منصوبے اور خیراتی کام سب اسی مفہوم میں شامل ہیں۔
نتیجہ
ان احادیث سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت بہت وسیع ہے۔ بعض اعمال بظاہر چھوٹے نظر آتے ہیں لیکن اخلاص اور نیک نیتی کے ساتھ انجام دیے جائیں تو ان پر بہت بڑا اجر مل سکتا ہے۔
بیوہ اور مسکین کی خدمت، نماز کی پابندی، والدین اور اولاد کی کفالت، حج و عمرہ، اذکار، صدقات کی خدمت اور نیکی کے کاموں میں تعاون ایسے اعمال ہیں جو ہر مسلمان کی دسترس میں ہیں۔
لہٰذا ہمیں چاہیے کہ ان اعمال کو معمولی نہ سمجھیں بلکہ اپنی روزمرہ زندگی کا حصہ بنائیں۔ ممکن ہے ایک ایسا عمل جسے ہم چھوٹا سمجھ رہے ہوں، قیامت کے دن ہماری نجات کا سبب بن جائے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں اخلاص کے ساتھ نیک اعمال کرنے، ان پر ثابت قدم رہنے اور دوسروں کو بھی ان کی ترغیب دینے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔
Small Deeds, Great Rewards: Hadiths on Rewards Equal to Jihad, Hajj, and Charity
Introduction
The mercy and generosity of Allah are beyond measure. One of the greatest signs of His mercy is that He has opened countless doors of goodness for His servants. Many people assume that immense rewards are reserved only for extraordinary acts of worship such as Jihad, Hajj, Umrah, or large charitable contributions. However, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught his Ummah that many simple and accessible deeds can earn rewards comparable to these great acts when performed sincerely for the sake of Allah.

1. Serving Widows and the Poor
(RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"The one who strives to help a widow and a poor person is like the one who strives in the cause of Allah."
(Sahih Muslim: 2982)
Islam places great emphasis on caring for the vulnerable members of society. Widows, orphans, and the poor often face financial and emotional hardships. Helping them, supporting their needs, and easing their difficulties are among the most beloved deeds to Allah.

2. Performing Prayer on Time
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA) asked the Prophet ﷺ:
"Which deed is most beloved to Allah?"
He replied:
"Performing the prayer at its proper time."
(Sahih al-Bukhari: 527)
Prayer is the foundation of a Muslim’s relationship with Allah. While many people seek additional acts of worship, they sometimes neglect the importance of performing the obligatory prayers on time.
This hadith teaches that punctuality in prayer is among the most beloved deeds to Allah and should be a priority in every Muslim's life.
3. Good Deeds During the First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah
Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
"There are no days during which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days."
(Sahih al-Bukhari: 969)
The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are among the most blessed days of the year. Acts such as prayer, fasting, charity, remembrance of Allah, and recitation of the Qur'an carry immense rewards during this period.

4. Working Honestly in the Collection and Distribution of Charity
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The one who works honestly in administering charity is like a warrior striving in the cause of Allah."
(Sunan Ibn Majah: 1809)
Managing charitable funds with honesty and integrity is a noble responsibility. Those who collect, organize, and distribute charity fairly help countless people and serve the community in a meaningful way.
This hadith reminds us that facilitating charity can be as rewarding as giving it.
5. Striving to Support Parents and Children
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"If a person goes out striving to support his young children, then he is in the cause of Allah."
(Al-Mu'jam al-Awsat)
Many people view earning a livelihood as merely a worldly activity. Islam teaches otherwise. When a believer works to provide lawful sustenance for parents, spouse, and children, that effort becomes an act of worship.

6. Hajj and Umrah
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ expressing his desire to participate in Jihad. The Prophet ﷺ directed him to:
"Perform Hajj."
(Al-Mu'jam al-Kabir)
Hajj is one of the greatest acts of worship in Islam. It requires sacrifice, patience, devotion, and sincerity. A properly performed Hajj cleanses sins and elevates a believer’s status before Allah.
Likewise, Umrah carries tremendous spiritual benefits and serves as a means of drawing closer to Allah.
7. Remembrance of Allah After Prayer
The Prophet ﷺ instructed the poor companions to say after every prayer:
"Subhan Allah" 33 times, "Alhamdulillah" 33 times, and "Allahu Akbar" 33 times.
(Sahih al-Bukhari: 843)
This simple practice takes only a few minutes, yet it carries immense rewards. The Prophet ﷺ taught these supplications as a means for those with limited wealth to attain rewards comparable to those earned through charity and other great deeds.
Regular remembrance of Allah after prayer strengthens faith and keeps the heart connected to its Creator.
8. Waiting for the Next Prayer
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Waiting for one prayer after another is ribat (guarding the frontier in the cause of Allah)."
(Sahih Muslim: 251)
In Islamic terminology, ribat refers to guarding the borders of the Muslim community. The Prophet ﷺ compared eagerly awaiting the next prayer to this noble act because it demonstrates devotion, discipline, and constant attachment to worship.

9. Equipping a Warrior or Caring for His Family
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Whoever equips a fighter in the cause of Allah has participated in the fighting, and whoever looks after his family in his absence has also participated."
(Sahih Muslim: 1895)
Not everyone can personally participate in every noble effort, but supporting those who do can earn a share of the reward. Helping righteous causes financially, assisting those engaged in beneficial work, and caring for their families are all highly rewarded acts.
This hadith highlights the importance of cooperation and mutual support within the Muslim community.
Conclusion
These authentic hadiths demonstrate the vast mercy of Allah and the countless opportunities available to earn His reward. Serving the needy, praying on time, caring for one's family, remembering Allah, performing Hajj, supporting charitable work, and remaining devoted to worship are all deeds that can lead to immense rewards.
No believer should ever underestimate a good deed. A seemingly small act performed with sincerity may become the very reason for success in the Hereafter.
