نیکی کا حکم دو، برائی سے روکو — ورنہ عذاب آئے گا
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
“لوگوں کو نیک کاموں کا حکم کیا کرو اور برے کاموں سے روکا کرو۔ ورنہ اللہ تم پر جلدی عذاب نازل کر دے گا، پھر تم دعا کرو گے مگر تمہاری دعا قبول نہیں کی جائے گی۔”
سنن الترمذی: حدیث نمبر 2169
(کتاب الفتن، باب ما جاء فی الامر بالمعروف والنہی عن المنکر)
مختصر تشریح:
یہ حدیث ہمیں یاد دلاتی ہے کہ معاشرے کی اصلاح صرف اپنے آپ کو بہتر بنانے سے نہیں ہوتی بلکہ دوسروں کو بھی نیکی کی دعوت دینا اور برائی سے روکنا ضروری ہے۔
اگر لوگ برائی کو عام ہوتے دیکھ کر بھی خاموش رہیں تو اللہ کا عذاب نازل ہو سکتا ہے، اور اُس وقت دعائیں بھی اثر نہیں کرتیں۔

Roman Urdu Version:
Neki ka hukm do, burai se roko — warna azaab aaye ga
Hadith:
Rasool Allah ﷺ ne farmaya:
"Logon ko nek kaamon ka hukm do aur buray kaamon se roko. Warna Allah tum par jaldi azaab naazil karega, phir tum dua karoge magar tumhari dua qubool nahi ki jaayegi."
(Sunan Tirmidhi: Hadees No. 2169)

Mukhtasir Tashreeh
Yeh hadees humein yaad dilati hai ke sirf apni islaah kaafi nahi hoti. Humein samajh ki behtari ke liye nek kaam ka hukm dena aur burayi se rokna bhi imaan ka hissa hai. Agar log burayi dekh kar bhi khamosh rahen to Allah ka azaab aa sakta hai, aur us waqt duayein bhi qubool nahi hotin.

Command Good, Forbid Evil — Or Face Divine Punishment
Hadith:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Command people to do good and forbid them from evil. Otherwise, Allah will soon send punishment upon you, and even if you pray to Him, your supplications will not be accepted.”
(Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 2169)

Short Explanation:
This hadith teaches that faith is not complete unless we care for our society by promoting good and preventing evil. When people ignore wrongdoing, Allah’s punishment may descend and at that time, even sincere prayers may not be answered.
