نمازِ باجماعت کی سخت تاکید
اذان سن کر مسجد نہ جانے والوں کے لیے تنبیہ
رسولِ اکرم ﷺ کا ارشاد:
"جس شخص نے اذان سنی لیکن مسجد میں نہیں آیا، تو اس کی نماز نہیں ہوگی، الا یہ کہ کوئی عذر ہو۔"
(سنن ابن ماجہ: حدیث 793)
اسلام میں نمازِ باجماعت کی بہت زیادہ فضیلت بیان کی گئی ہے۔
نماز صرف ایک عبادت نہیں بلکہ امتِ مسلمہ کے اتحاد اور بھائی چارے کی علامت ہے۔
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے مسلمانوں کو تاکید فرمائی کہ جب اذان کی آواز سنو تو مسجد کی طرف فوراً رخ کرو، کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے گھر میں ادا کی جانے والی نماز کا اجر اکیلے پڑھنے والی نماز سے کئی گنا زیادہ ہے۔
نمازِ باجماعت کی فضیلت:
احادیث میں آتا ہے کہ
"باجماعت نماز اکیلے پڑھنے والی نماز سے ستائیس درجے زیادہ فضیلت رکھتی ہے۔"
(صحیح بخاری)
یہی وجہ ہے کہ صحابہ کرامؓ اذان سنتے ہی تمام کام چھوڑ کر مسجد کی طرف چلے جاتے تھے۔
وہ جانتے تھے کہ نماز کا اصل لطف اور روح باجماعت ادا کرنے میں ہے۔
یہ حدیث ہمیں اس بات کی طرف متوجہ کرتی ہے کہ اذان سن کر بھی مسجد میں حاضر نہ ہونا ایک بڑی کوتاہی ہے۔
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس عمل پر سخت ناراضی کا اظہار فرمایا، کیونکہ یہ سستی، غفلت اور جماعت سے دوری کی نشانی ہے۔
اللہ کے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"اگر لوگوں کو پتا چل جائے کہ اذان دینے اور صفِ اول میں کھڑے ہونے کا کیا ثواب ہے، تو وہ اس کے لیے قرعہ ڈالیں۔"
(صحیح بخاری)
کب اجازت ہے مسجد نہ جانے کی؟
اگر کوئی شخص بیمار ہو، سفر پر ہو، یا شدید مجبوری میں ہو تو شرعاً اسے اجازت ہے کہ گھر پر نماز ادا کرے۔
لیکن بلاعذر مسجد چھوڑ دینا اللہ کے نزدیک پسندیدہ عمل نہیں۔
سبق جو ہمیں ملتا ہے:
- اذان کی آواز ایمان کی پکار ہے، اسے نظر انداز نہ کریں۔
- باجماعت نماز مسلمان کی پہچان ہے۔
- مسجد کی حاضری روح کو زندہ رکھتی ہے۔
نتیجہ:
یہ حدیث ہمیں یاد دلاتی ہے کہ نمازِ باجماعت صرف سنت نہیں، بلکہ ایمان کی علامت ہے۔
جو شخص بلاعذر مسجد سے غافل رہتا ہے، وہ گویا اپنے آپ کو اللہ کی برکتوں سے محروم کر لیتا ہے۔
لہٰذا جب بھی مؤذن کی آواز سنیں، فوراً لبیک کہیں اور مسجد کا راستہ اختیار کریں۔

The Importance of Congregational Prayer in Islam
Prophet Muhammad’s Emphasis on Praying in the Mosque
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever hears the Adhan (call to prayer) and does not come to the mosque, his prayer will not be accepted unless he has a valid excuse.
This Hadith highlights the great importance of performing Salah (prayer) in congregation (Jama’ah) at the mosque. Islam strongly encourages Muslims to pray together, as it strengthens unity, discipline, and brotherhood among the believers.
Why Congregational Prayer Matters
1. Strengthens Unity:
When Muslims stand shoulder to shoulder in prayer, it removes social barriers reminding us that all are equal before Allah.
2. Multiplied Rewards:
The Prophet ﷺ said that prayer in congregation is 27 times more rewarding than praying alone.

3. Sign of a True Believer:
Attending the mosque regularly shows one’s love for Allah and commitment to faith.
4. Spiritual Discipline:
The regular call to the mosque helps maintain a structured, spiritual routine in daily life.
When Absence is Excused
The Prophet ﷺ made it clear that only genuine reasons, such as illness, fear, or extreme hardship, excuse a person from attending congregational prayer. Otherwise, missing it without cause is a serious neglect in faith.
Lesson for Today
In today’s fast-paced life, it’s easy to skip the mosque and pray at home. But this Hadith reminds us that the real essence of Salah lies in unity and community worship.
When we join hands and hearts in the house of Allah, our faith strengthens — and our souls find peace.
