1. خودی کو کر بلند اتنا کہ ہر تقدیر سے پہلے
خدا بندے سے خود پوچھے، بتا تیری رضا کیا ہے۔
2. ستاروں سے آگے جہاں اور بھی ہیں
ابھی عشق کے امتحان اور بھی ہیں۔
3. عمل سے زندگی بنتی ہے جنت بھی جہنم بھی
یہ خاکی اپنی فطرت میں نہ نوری ہے نہ ناری ہے۔
4. نہیں ہے ناامید اقبال اپنے کشتِ ویراں سے
ذرا نم ہو تو یہ مٹی بڑی زرخیز ہے ساقی!
5. افراد کے ہاتھوں میں ہے اقوام کی تقدیر
ہر فرد ہے ملت کے مقدر کا ستارہ۔
6. وہی جواں ہے قبیلے کی آنکھ کا تارا
شباب جس کا ہے بے داغ، ضرب ہے کاری۔
7. زمانہ اب بھی نہیں جس کے سوز سے فارغ
میں جانتا ہوں وہ شعلہ تری زباں میں ہے۔

3. Amal se zindagi banti hai jannat bhi jahannum bhi,
Yeh khaaki apni fitrat mein na noori hai na naari hai.
4. Nahi hai naumeed Iqbal apni kasht-e-weeran se,
Zara num ho to yeh mitti bari zarkhaiz hai saqi!
7. Zamana ab bhi nahi jis ke soz se farigh,
Main jaanta hoon woh shola teri zubaan mein hai.
